Our Architecture & Security Principles

Unlike other online converters that upload files to remote cloud servers, extract.best is built with uncompromising client-side privacy guarantees:

• 100% In-Browser Execution: All decompression and compression runs locally on your device via WebAssembly (WASM) and Web Workers. Your files never touch any external server.
• Zero Upload Footprint: Zero server round-trips, zero file storage logs, and zero network transmission of archive contents.
• Instant In-Memory Purge: Processed files reside strictly in temporary browser RAM and are immediately wiped when you navigate away.
• Native Local Decryption: Password-protected archives (AES-256) are decrypted securely on your own device's CPU.
